OUR WINES
Our wines are a reflection of the land in which they are made and of an artisanal way of understanding viticulture. Our annual production is always below 4,000 bottles.
Our vineyard is located on a slope above the river Miño, in the area of Belesar, Chantada. It occupies approximately two hectares of granite soil where we grow grapes characteristic of Galicia and the Ribeira Sacra, such as mencía, godello, treixadura, loureira or garnacha tintureira. At Lagar do Vento we have opted for low-yield viticulture, with a limited number of bunches per vine and a harvest done exclusively by hand. In this way we obtain a smaller quantity of wine, but of greater quality and personality.
We make our wine with Roberto Regal, one of the most important oenologists in Galicia. Our vineyard is also a pioneer in regenerative and sustainable agriculture practices ( Know more ).
OUR REDS:
Do Peizas | Young
Young red Denomination of Origin Ribeira Sacra, made with mencia grapes from our Peizás estate.
It is a fresh and long wine, dominated by notes of red fruit.
Our 2018 vintage won the award for the best red from the Ribeira Sacra. The 2021 and 2022 vintages are currently available in our store.

A wine with aromas of mountain, red fruit and toasted notes. Limited production of 1330 bottles.
Grafito
Unique multivarietal wine, made with ancient strains native to Galicia (mencía, brancellao, grao negro, albariño, and others). Its name comes from the dark, graphite-rich soil of the selected strains.
A round wine, long and warm, with a limited production of 666 bottles.
Peto de Ánimas
Atypical mencía red from the year 2020. An intense, long and deep wine made independently and by hand.
This wine takes its name from the peto de ánimas of Belesar, which is located under our vineyard. The petos de ánimas, or "pockets of souls", are ancient sanctuaries dedicated to purgatory characteristic of Galician folklore.
